Great host I had a fantastic stay at this delightful B&B in Ambleside! Mark was incredibly helpful, going out of his way to ensure my visit was perfect with his warm hospitality. He even kindly provided a delicious breakfast to take away, which was a thoughtful touch. The rooms were cozy, impeccably clean, and the overall experience was top-notch. This B&B is a true gem, and Mark’s exceptional service made it a 5-star stay I’ll always remember. Highly recommend!

Lake District Get Away Super clean, comfortable, spacious accommodations with luxury bathroom products. Breakfast served was absolutely delicious, healthy, and plentiful. Our hosts were gracious and helpful beyond expectation. Location in Ambleside was convenient and central for all activities in the Lake District.

An amazing stay! My partner and I have just returned from an amazing three night stay at Haven Cottage.

We arrived early and were able to leave the car in the car park, for a wander into Ambleside before returning later to check in.

We stayed in a cosy double which was perfect for our needs. Light and airy with a view of the mountains. Lovely comfy bed and pillows, tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk.

There was an attached small bathroom with a super shower and lovely big towels.

Breakfast was ordered the previous day via a pre-printed menu, which was extremely extensive and catered for any needs. We both opted for the full English, which was cooked to perfection, with toast and tea and set us up for the day.

Amanda and Mark could not do enough for us, including some detailed information and map, on a walk we were intending to do, as well as an interesting conversation about eggs 😋.

Prior to arriving, Amanda sent some information on local eateries, which included all of those we ate at during our stay.

The location is ideal for a walk into Ambleside, with a bus stop on either side of the road. The buses are frequent and reasonably priced.

Overall, our stay was brilliant and will definitely book again. Thanks for looking after us both!
