The Haven Cottage guest book

5 star ratingHaven Cottage Ambleside Amanda and Mark
Made us very welcome when we arrived, rooms are lovely a real home from home very clean and comfortable very close to Town and beautiful walks in the surrounding areas and has free parking which is a great bonus.
Breakfast is 10/10 all locally sourced ingredients.
Would definitely recommend Haven cottage to stay.

5 star ratingThe best stay in Ambleside We have had a lovely holiday/honeymoon at this idyllic little cottage in Ambleside. The hosts Amanda and Mark were absolutely lovely and very welcoming. Upon our arrival Amanda congratulated us on our marriage and thanked for choosing there B&B to celebrate and after being here couldn't choose anywhere better. The breakfast was brilliant and the fact I being gluten avoidance could enjoy a fried breakfast and even some toast was lovely. They went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed including extra towels and advice on great Gluten-free places to eat and places to visit like the steam train experience just a short ferry ride away. The room itself is beautiful and bright, spacious but cozy at night too. The view from the balcony is beautiful and quite peaceful. It is perfectly situated just a 5 minute walk from all the local shops and if thats not a enough then you can get a scenic bus trip from right outside to any local areas from grassmere to bowness to keswick. Also the grassmere bus is an opentop bus which creates a very scenic journey. Overall we would definitely recommend this as a place to stay whether it and short trip or long stay.
