An Ambleside gem. What a place. We had room 8 with the balcony and the view to Loughrigg Fell was just incredible. The room was immaculate and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was without a doubt the best I've had in all my years of travelling and staying in hotels/b&b's. Homemade granola, freshly squeezed orange juice, freshly baked bread, award winning coffee and a fry up with locally sourced sausages, bacon etc all contributed to a truly outstanding breakfast. Mark and Amanda were perfect hosts, warm and friendly. Do yourself a favour and visit this wee gem of an establishment before they close the business in October.

Fabulous By far the best B & B we have stayed in. The room was lovely, bright comfortable and had everything we needed . Luxurious towels , coffee/ tea facilities. The breakfast was absolutely delicious , lots to choose from, everything cooked to perfection, homemade bread, fresh fruit etc. Amanda and Mark are the perfect hosts , friendly, welcoming, full of information about the area . The house is right beside the village . We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommended this B & B
