An Ambleside gem. What a place. We had room 8 with the balcony and the view to Loughrigg Fell was just incredible. The room was immaculate and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was without a doubt the best I've had in all my years of travelling and staying in hotels/b&b's. Homemade granola, freshly squeezed orange juice, freshly baked bread, award winning coffee and a fry up with locally sourced sausages, bacon etc all contributed to a truly outstanding breakfast. Mark and Amanda were perfect hosts, warm and friendly. Do yourself a favour and visit this wee gem of an establishment before they close the business in October.
