A real haven in Ambleside We had a lovely stay at Haven cottage this May. Amanda and Mark are very attentive hosts always ready with tips and advice about what to do in the area. They looked after us in difficult times for which we are very grateful. Breakfast options are exceptionally accommodating with lots of healthy options to choose from. Everything is very clean and tastefully designed, our room was really pretty and the space thoughtfully maxed out with useful amenities in the bathroom like a vanity mirror, tissues, earplugs and similar extra luxuries. Thank you for a memorable stay, I’m sure we’ll be back later.

You can easily walk in to Ambleside and there’s a bus stop straight outside the accommodation.

Luxury, clean, wonderful hosts, delicious breakfast one of the best airbnbs we have stayed at Haven Cottage was such a special treat beautiful accomodation so clean, luxurious fittings, beautiful linen and towels and the views of the trees so peaceful. It was walking distance to restaurants pubs and the lake and pier. But what made it that extra special was the wonderful hospitality of Amanda and Mark nothing was to much for them they were the perfect hosts. Amanda cooked up an amazing breakfast (included) every morn such high quality food plus the cereals fruits yoghurt seeds juice and more. Served in the quaint breakfast room was the best we have had travelling round UK. Her friendliness and care was so genuine and the basis of how they run their Airbnb.
